25 Nov Visit A Hospital Medical Outreach in Lagos, 7th and 14th December
At Visit A Hospital Today, we believe that to truly make a difference, it is important to think of solutions with a community mindset. We have found, however, that this mindset and all that it entails must be cultivated, nurtured and exemplified.
This philosophy and our enthusiasm to grow organically and with our beneficiaries, inspired us to adopt a direct approach of visiting community hospitals once a month, talking to, and learning directly from our beneficiaries. We have created an ecosystem of like-minded Nigerians who seek to make a difference in Nigeria’s health sector. And this December, we intend to kick it up a notch.
With support from Trust Banc, the team at Visit A Hospital today (and a few volunteer nurses and doctors), will be visiting a community in Lagos to discuss health, wellbeing and how to bring community thinking into enhancing the safety of those around you. The program will consist of the following:
-
- Taking vitals and recommend accessible health tips
- Teaching CPR and passing out first aid materials
- Partnering with community clinics to maximise the impact of this outreach
We will be visiting the residents of Ojodu Abiodun at 1, Murtala Mohammed street, Off Ishaga street, Ojodu Abiodun, from 9 am on the 7th and 14th of December.
Join us and our community of volunteers as we teach and learn from the residents of Ojodu Abiodun. With your help, we can begin to cultivate positive attitudes towards first aid and medical affinity in Nigeria. You can sign up as a volunteer, donate to this cause or contact us to let us know how you’d like to support.
